Abstract

Abstract This paper proposes a 3-D image encryption scheme based on micro-lens array. The 3-D image can be reconstructed by applying the digital refocusing algorithm to the picked-up light field. To improve the security of the cryptosystem, the Arnold transform and the Gravity Model based image encryption method are employed. Experiment results demonstrate the high security in key space of the proposed encryption scheme. The results also indicate that the employment of light field imaging significant strengthens the robustness of the cipher image against some conventional image processing attacks.
