Abstract

AbstractMicro‐Doppler (MD) effect may decrease the readability of inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) imaging results, so it is more desirable to solve the problem of MD effect removal. To overcome this issue, a new algorithm based on Augmented Lagrange Multipliers (ALM) is proposed in this paper. In our study, the MD effect in ISAR image is proven to be of low‐rank. Therefore, the MD effect can be removed by the ALM algorithm. In addition to being capable of separating the MD effect from ISAR image, the proposal is robust to a low signal to noise ratio (SNR). Comprehensive experiments are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
