Abstract

A method is described for the determination, by radioactivation analysis, of zinc in small amounts of blood and tissues (e.g. 50–100 mg of blood containing 0.3–0.8 μg of zinc). The method gives results in good agreement with those determined by a standard chemical technique. Excellent recoveries of zinc added to blood samples were obtained.
