Replying to P. Rez & M. M. J. Treacy Nature503,http://dx.doi.org/10.1038/nature12660(2013) Although we welcome Rez and Treacy’s comment1 on our paper2, we find—on the basis of the considerations below—that these authors do not provide concrete scientific evidence to support their arguments, and that their main statements are not consistent with our multislice simulations and experimental results using two independent filters.
