Abstract

The study present the weekly commuting in a small village of 1600 resident in Tiszahát. Theeconomic situation of the settlement, employment and income opportunities are lower thannational average, which also has an extremely strong impact on the livability of the village.The local primary labor market can employ few workers, other employees can work in publicemployment or they can work as a seasonal worker in agriculture buti it does not provide anincome that can be calculated all year. There are few opportunities in the region, so they cannot work in the nearby settlements. Many locals have to go to remote settlement for work. Weprepared interviews to examine: how weekly commuting became popular in the village and howit affected local families and the local community.

„We were born here, we grew up here, our relatives and our children are here... everything are in our village”. Az eszmei vagy választott közösségbe az emberek saját elhatározásukból csatlakoznak, sokkal nyitottabbak, rugalmasabbak, mint az adott közösség, ezért kön nyebb kikerülni és bekerülni ebbe a típusba, az egyén lehet csak átmeneti jelleggel is a tagja és egy időben akár több eszmei közösséghez is tartozhat. A férfi interjúalanyok közül mindenki munkavégzés céljából hetel, a nők között is találunk olyanokat, akik a párjukkal egy településre járnak el dolgozni, ugyanakkor van aki, a helyi közfoglalkoztatásban vesz részt és olyan is, aki nem rendelkezik munkaviszonnyal.
