Abstract
Present work concerns micropolar fluid flow through a porous cylinder enclosing a solid cylindrical core under the externally applied uniform magnetic field in the direction perpendicular to the axis of the cylindrical shell. Governing equations of micropolar fluid are expressed in modified Nowacki form for flow through porous shell. Analytical expression for the stream functions (velocity components), microrotations, couple stresses are obtained for the both regions. The variation in the drag force, velocity and microrotations are presented graphically and discussed for different values of flow parameters.
