Abstract
Researchers that examined whether individuals who received mental health treatment for anxiety or depression after being hospitalized for ischemic disorders or heart failure found that there was a reduced frequency of rehospitalizations, emergency department (ED) visits, and/or mortality for these people compared with those who did not receive treatment, according to a new study published March 20 in the Journal of the American Heart Association.
