Abstract

As a Massachusetts health care system embarks on a new “patient‐centered” treatment model for patients with serious mental illness, mental health clinicians are expressing dissatisfaction following high staff departures, overwhelming caseloads, ER patient boarding and inability to communicate effectively with leadership.
