Abstract

Industrial power consumption cost-benefit analysis requires reliable data on the electric power amounts distributed between manufacturing departments and process units. Furthermore, reliable power consumption data provide the base for fiscal cost clearing at electric power markets. These data are supplied by the electric power measuring systems (counters) the failure of which results in the gross errors of power audit. This fact predetermines the relevance of metrological monitoring measuring systems improvement during operation. The proposed methods are based on the detection of a wild power imbalance value and further analysis of each counter impact. It is proposed to apply the criteria of empirical distribution at formalized imbalance analysis: the mean standard deviation and the coefficient of pair correlation between the imbalance and the load of each of the substation connections. Based on the analysis of power imbalance graphs, the method of purposeful tracking of the dynamics indicators for these criteria according to the configuration of moving average graphs is substantiated. An example of the monitoring reliability of electric power metering data at the connections of the 10 kV portion of the metallurgical plant substation is considered. The results of the developed method implementation at daily data reliability verification by the automated metering system are presented. The effective detection of faulty measuring systems is confirmed.
