Abstract

Five high-pressure transducers (two of 100 MPa, one of 200 MPa and two of 500 MPa) have been precisely calibrated several times against dead-weight piston manometers. It may be said that the performances of the recent transducers have been much improved. For a specially manufactured 100 MPa gauge, an accuracy of ±0.02% (reproducibility) and a precision of ±0.002% (2σ) can be expected. The non-linearity and hysteresis are reduced to 0.05% and 0.02% of the full-scale reading.
