Abstract
The main functions and properties of Metrological Automatic Support (MAS), subsystem of Intelligent Measurement System (IMS), the working algorithms, structure and its component functionality are considered in this paper. The presented hierarchy of the main procedures of metrology support allows their use on different stages of sensor signal processing. The measurement result error calculations using MAS provide the evaluation of intelligent measuring channel characteristics. The interaction of the Metrological Automatic Support subsystem and measurement system provides its functionality in parallel mode with the measurement procedures.
