Abstract

The social connections with the territory become agents of transformation. Well managed, leading to a better quality of life and better opportunities. Mishandled, cause additional costs that raise the development process. In this context, society-municipal interaction is basic to the development of land quality, as it emerge initiatives, based projects, development opportunities. Internationally multiple tools are designed to establish these linkages. Nevertheless, experiences in Mendoza and other Argentine provinces, show that its implementation is far from the requirements of our society, not reaching the same results. This paper presents an own methodology of society-town approach, applied in integrated development projects. It is working to build a dynamic form with the society, for integrating land use planning, risk management for disaster and environmental management in the context of local government.
