Methanol is an important industrial solvent and the major ingredient of many inexpensive anti-freeze preparations.Acute or chronic poisoning may be produced by ingestion, cutaneous absorption or inhalation. Atmospheric concentrations of 0.2 per cent may cause...Bibliography1. ChewBergerBrinesCapron WBEAOAMJ: Alkali treatment of methyl alcohol poisoning, J. A. M. A. 130: 61-64 (Jan. 12) 1946.
