Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of studying methods of forming social competence of children with complex developmental disorders and autism spectrum disorder. The characteristic of the concept of social competence of a child with complex developmental disorders and autism is defined. The main difficulties of forming the social competence of children with complex developmental disorders are outlined. The importance of using group therapy methods, interactive online games, SST, complex strategies and socio-dramatic games, fairy tales, project activities is revealed. The author's own methods of forming social competence of children with complex developmental disorders and autism are highlighted. They are associative sketches, social larping, social cards, friendships, shopping stories.
