Abstract

This chapter explores religion-based methods of coping with stress, with a particular focus on three methods of religious coping from three relatively unstudied religions of the world: the Bar Mitzvah among Jews, karma among Hindus, and healing among Pentecostal-Charismatic Christians. The chapter also discusses religion as a process.
