Abstract
Objective To find out the best method for vaginal preparation before ovum pick-up(OPU).Methods 210 infertile women were divided into groups A,B and C,70 for each group.Three kinds of different methods for vaginal preparation were used.Changes in body temperature,ovum fertilization rate,cleavage rate,time of vaginal preparation,and expenditure item cost were compared and analyzed.Results Changes in body temperature,ovum fertilization rate,and cleavage rate did not differ significantly among the three groups(P＜0.05);and there were statistical differences in time of vaginal preparation and expenditure item cost(P＜0.05).Conclusions Vaginal preparation with NS of 1000 ml on the day of ovum pick-up doesnot affect the effect,and it can avoid an increase in nurse's workload and medical costs.
