Abstract
The article contains the application of modern educational technologies and an innovative approach to the story of A.P.Chekxov. It examines the essence of the renewal of Russian realism, and also touches on the issue of the creative activity of the writer. Information and communication technologies occupy a special place in the educational process. Their use allows the teacher to conduct lessons at a high level, use a large volume of educational material, create interactive assignments - this approach provides visibility of teaching and free access to an electronic educational resource.
