Abstract

The identification of metals and alloys, and dissolved impurities in water is aimed at ensuring the activity of the metallurgical complex and then machine-building production. Accelerated methods designed for quick identification significantly determine the increase in safety and competitiveness of metallurgical and engineering products. Therefore, in order to identify grades of metals and alloys, and chemical pollutants of industrial water and ensure its safety in production, the possibility of using X-ray express analyzer and atomic emission spectrometry with inductively coupled plasma to monitor and identify them composition was confirmed. It has been experimentally shown that with the help of X-ray express analyzer and atomic emission spectrometry with inductively coupled plasma, it is possible to identify several dozen elements simultaneously with high accuracy and reproducibility. This will ensure the stability and controllability of both the production process and the monitoring and control of samples by chemical composition.
