Abstract
The descriptions of innovative methods for preliminary data processing in a system for measuring of radial clearances, including the difference method for average extreme codes detection of blade-to-blade gaps, the difference method for extreme codes detection at the output of measuring circuit during one period of impeller rotation that is not dependent on temperature effect on the sensor, and the method for averaging of difference of extreme codes over several periods of impeller rotation, are considered. Methods provide processing speed and measurement accuracy increase. The quantitative estimates of methods speed and accuracy confirming their efficiency and application in gas-turbine engines diagnostic systems are given.
