Abstract

One of the most important problems in machine building is to reduce the consumption of material while maintaining the required strength and carrying capacity. The solution of this problem is directly related to utilization of the excess capacity of the materials employed and extensive adoption of new materials in modern technology. This problem cannot be solved without predicting correctly the parameters of the stress-strained state, owing to the static forces and external thermal loads, of the materials.
