Abstract

The article suggest a methodology for the evaluation of an operator's activities in man-machine systems. The proposed approach is focused on the conflict resolution between the wording of qualification requirements for operator activity in its quality indicators and existing methods that provide the assessment of functional performance of activity. The indicators for assessing the quality of an operator's activities and features of qualification requirements to operators of man-machine systems are identified. The article presents a structural scheme of software complex for the quality assessment of an operator's activities. Statistical modeling techniques, suitable to solve the problem of increasing the assessing accuracy of operators' activity quality are reviewed. Key requirements and assumptions are identified, used in the model building process of the operators' activities and evaluating its quality.
