Abstract

The main objective of this research is to propose a methodology for configuration management in COTECMAR in conjunction with the Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) describing the elements that make up the ILS and its activities throughout the life cycle of the system in the framework of a naval program, which is based on standards issued by different authors of both military and civilian nature, taking into account the methodology of acquisition of military systems adopted by the Navy and COTECMAR. Also, a proposal for the design of a computer tool for configuration management was developed. As a final point, it was described how the ILS will evolve in COTECMAR considering the concept of shipyard 4.0 and how the development of the ILS will allow COTECMAR to be a world class shipyard.
