Abstract

Background. Currently, increased attention is paid to the conduct of medical and psychological rehabilitation (MPR) of military personnel in resort facilities. In this regard, one of the crucial directions is the development and improvement of a system for assessing the efficiency of medical and psychological rehabilitation using various methods and criteria for assessing the functional state of the body of military personnel. Aim. The purpose of the study is to develop a methodology for assessing the effectiveness of medical and psychological rehabilitation of military personnel in a resort facility based on a quantitative assessment of system complexes of indicators of the functional state of the body using the hardware and software complex. Materials and methods. The study was carried out in the branch of the FSBI Resort Complex «Privolzhsky» of the Ministry of Defense of Russia as part of the work of the psychotherapeutic office (psychologist's office) with the involvement of 163 military members aged 33.09±0.49 years using the Diamed-MBS hardware and software complex (RU No. FSR 2008/03936), which includes heart rate variability, volumetric electrical conductivity (electrosomatography), and bioelectrography at the beginning and at the end of rehabilitation activities carried out for 10 days. Mathematical and statistical processing of the data obtained for 163 military members was performed in Excel and Statistica 6.0 programs. Results. The options for calculating a single index of MPR efficiency coefficient, which includes integrative assessment of system complexes of subjective, somatic, and psychoemotional components of functional state of the body of military members using the Diamed-MBS hardware and software complex before and after rehabilitation, are presented. Conclusion. The study made it possible to determine the high informativity of the point assessment of the objective indicators of the functional state of the body of military personnel according to the method of bioelectrography and electrosomatography with the Diamond-MBS hardware and software complex, as well as in accordance with subjective data of military members’ self-reports. As a result of the work, it was shown that when assessing the effectiveness of military personnel MPR, it is optimal to be guided by its efficiency, that is, the degree of achievement of the program’s set goals. With this approach, the main end result is the calculation of a single indicator of the military personnel MPR efficiency coefficient in a resort facility in a given period of time. Achieving high points from 4 to 6, where 4 is «good,» 5 is «very good,» and 6 is «excellent,» at the end of the MPR allows calculating the criteria for subjective, somatic, and psychoemotional system complexes of the functional state of the body of military personnel, as well as weighting coefficients of significance of each criterion. The results of the assessment provide the head of the resort facility with information for making dynamic management decisions.
