Abstract

Abstract: A methodology for designing the load-bearing capacity of power parts of machines and structures operating under variable loading conditions is presented, which allows assessing the effectiveness of design and technological solutions based on the criteria of fatigue strength, durability and guaranteed service life. The technique is based on the force calculation of parts and assemblies, the formation of an equivalent block of variable loading, the calculation of the endurance limit in a statistical aspect and the determination of the fatigue life at a given level of reliability. The presented methodology is based on a specific example of calculating and assessing the durability of the elements of the fork connector of the fin and fuselage of a passenger aircraft.
