Abstract

As technological advances in electro-mechanical devices result in more sophisticated learning delivery systems, emphasis should not be diverted from the legitimacy of the “software” or “message” to be transmitted. Evaluation procedures must be provided for at the earliest phases of program development with emphasis on measurable benefits to the learner. Cost effectiveness measures and a review of promises of new delivery systems are discussed.
