Abstract
The article analyzes the methodological foundations of the historiographic research of the postwar Ukrainian SSR industry (1946-1965). The author substantiates the use of hermeneutics as the main philosophical approach and proves the necessity of applying a list of historical and conditionally special historiographical principles and methods.
