Abstract

The ideological function of philosophy is to determine the value orientations, the life orientation of each person, his understanding of the essence of phenomena and the formation of a sense of belonging to events in society. The onto-epistemological and anthropological orientation of philosophy contributes to the formation of the methodological culture of the future specialist. Therefore, philosophy as one of the compulsory subjects of study is included in the curriculum of higher education, because the main function of philosophy is aimed at the formation of a worldview position and critical thinking in every citizen. Therefore, the main goal of teaching philosophy is aimed at the development of an elite culture through an elite education. In understanding the objective reality, philosophical knowledge is based on the ratio of rational and irrational and forms critical thinking.
