Abstract
An analysis implementing the requirements of regulatory legal acts on the assessment of professional risks was carried out. It is noted that the current regulatory legal acts regulate various approaches and methods of defining the same concept: the professional risk of an employee. The authors of the article propose a methodological approach to assessing occupational risks, which allows developing specific measures to prevent occupational injuries, occupational diseases and introducing an effective risk management system at enterprises. The proposed methodological approach is a combination of expert, probabilistic and statistical research methods of identifying potential hazards, analyzing their sources and establishing a set of criterion parameters and their values for risk assessment. The article presents the results of studying and assessing professional risks carried out for an organization performing non-destructive testing work on the main pipeline transporting oil and oil products. Multifactorial models are presented for determining the danger of falling of defect evaluators at the workplace and severity of the consequences of implementing hazards.
