Abstract
Methodological, legal and organizational problems of improving the expert support of justice in Ukraine are studied, taking into account the trends in the development of forensic expertise and criminalistics. It’s seen that the primary task for solving the problems of reforming the basic legislation on expert expertise of justice is to develop the concept of the basic Law of Ukraine about forensic activity. The necessity of a comprehensive approach to the reform of the basic legislation on expert support of justice, which would take into account all areas of such activities and form a new paradigm of the principles of forensic experts, taking into account national characteristics and international standards. The most relevant legal, organizational and methodological aspects of improving the expert support of justice in Ukraine in modern realities are considered.
