Abstract

The paper considers a method to compensate for the error in the scale factor of a quartz pendulum accelerometer caused by the pendulum unbalancing at accelerations over 20 g. The method allows for performing compensation by implementing algorithms programmed in the digital feedback amplifier without structural alterations to the accelerometer mechanical part. The proposed technical solutions can be applied in any type of pendulum accelerometers. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is confirmed by the results of experimental research.
