Abstract

The method of the optimal design of power-efficient electromagnetic actuators with the minimum mass-dimensional parameters was developed. The present method was based on the inverse problems solving and the constraints transformation to the objective functions. The presence of the electromagnet mass minimization in the method permits to reduce the materials consumption for the electromagnetic actuators production and enhance the transport systems payload weight. The considered inverse problems are conditionally correct or correct, according to A.N. Tikhonov. The developed method testing was performed. The test problem was solved by the numerically-analytic method, the magnetic circuits and field calculations methods. The obtained results were analyzed. The relations for calculation of the sought quantities initial values sufficiently close to the accurate solution were suggested. The developed method can be used for designing electromagnetic actuators of different electrical devices.
