Abstract

The method of establishing membership and nonmembership function in intuitionistic fuzzy sets is one of the important problems of IFS application. A wide evidence theory based method of establishing membership and nonmembership function was put forward in the paper. It analyzes the difference and similarity between belief function and membership function, plausibility function and nonmembership function firstly, then three new definitions of wide BPA function, wide belief function and wide plausibility function were given. Finally the model of membership and nonmembership function were built on the base of new definitions. Proving result and target recognition experiment show that the method is correctness and efficiency.
