Abstract
The invention relates to a hearing aid comprising a microphone (1), a loudspeaker (13) and a signal processing unit (2), with a switching unit (16) for producing a constant sound pressure level. Said switching unit (16) has an envelope generator (6) for generating an envelope value of a signal value to be processed and a divider (8) for establishing the quotient of the signal value and the envelope value as a signal to be output or reprocessed. The invention also relates to a method for operating a hearing aid of this type.
