Abstract

A procedure has been described for the analysis of the concentration and specific radioactivity of amino acids present in moderate to large amounts (>0.4 μmole/gm) in nerve tissue extracts. These amino acids can be analyzed in as little as 10 mg of fresh nerve tissue. The procedure is less time consuming than other methods with similar objectives.
