Abstract
Controls are described for maintaining a constant level of liquid nitrogen in a still-head can. A small electric solenoid valve is employed directly in the liquid nitrogen line, operating under the control of a sensitive level switch. The method and associated instruments are described, including a rapid means for changing supply cans.
