Abstract

A description of a pilot installation for studying the thermal fatigue strength of ceramic materials to be used for protecting the walls of high-temperature apparatuses, in particular, flame tubes of combustion chambers of gas-turbine and steam-gas power plants, from heating is presented. The results of a study of the thermal conditions of service of the installation and pilot tests of ceramic materials are described.
