Abstract

A simplified method is proposed for determining the structural parameters of composite ceramics using porcelain as an example from the average coordination number of random packing and optical microscopy data. This eliminates the ambiguity in the representation of structural parameters. The calculated average distance between quartz particles in porcelain agrees well with experiment. Ill. 1. Ref. 9.
