Abstract

The task of improving the quality of the system for monitoring the state of insulation of the power circuits of the electric locomotive due to predicting its insulation resistance (leakage current) and remote registration of the received information on the smartphone screen. The developed device is implemented on a modern microcontroller, a display and transmission of data on the state of insulation. To calculate the predicted value of the current leakage of power equipment, a program recorded in the SI programming language was used, which implements the Jacobi algorithm to calculate its own values and own vectors of the square matrix. The performance of the developed diagnostic system for the insulation state is evaluated by physical modeling with the output of the received information on the LCD display and the smartphone screen. The use of the developed monitoring system of insulation allows you to evaluate both its current state and predict the dynamics of changes in the leakage current in the future. The withdrawal of the information received to the smartphone allows remote control over the state of power equipment, which favorably distinguishes the presented development from other instruments of insulation. The developed system for monitoring the state of insulation is designed to assess the insulation resistance of the power circuits of the electric locomotive and industrial equipment by the value of the leakage current. Improving the quality of monitoring is carried out by applying a new algorithm for assessing the forecast state of insulation implemented on the STM32F103 microcontroller. This allows on a scientific basis to establish the frequency of preventive work to restore the state of insulation of the live parts of power equipment. The insulation state monitoring system presented in the work can be successfully implemented on modern microprocessors, as well as display and remote transmission devices.
