Abstract

An elaboration of the Keller's method for the measurement of absorbed γ-rays dose is presented. The procedure suggested is suitable for the daily practice when the tumor dose instead the incident dose is indicated, particularly when a treatment with crossed beams is performed, the beams contributing to the tumor dose with different energy quantities. Tables of a calculated factor are presented.
