Abstract

This article addresses telepresence through avatars in virtual environments such as Metaverso. Important concepts such as Metaverse and 3D Virtual Digital Worlds, avatars, presence and telepresence were discussed. The applications of avatar telepresence in a variety of areas, including education, healthcare, entertainment, professional training, and customer service, as well as privacy and security concerns associated with this technology, were also explored.
