Metasurfaces for specific beams generations

Abstract

This paper concludes the recently developed several kinds of functional metasurfaces, the two-dimensional metamaterials, and then summarizes the specific beams generations based on the functional metasurfaces. Specifically, one kind of non-diffraction beams like the Bessel beam or Airy beam realized by the functional metasurface is discussed in details. Some preliminary research achievements in our group for the discussed non-diffraction beams generations are provided lastly.
