Abstract

The dissociation of SF6 into neutral metastable fragments following electron impact has been studied for incident electron energies from threshold to 300 eV. A number of dissociation channels have been identified involving both partial and total fragmentation of the parent molecule. Comparisons are made with other work involving fragmentation of this molecule.
