Abstract

Today, a lot of research is devoted to the analysis of modern digital technologies in the globalized information industry. Our article is an attempt to identify and describe the latest cross-media trends in the evolution of the domestic digital media sphere, based on the experience of implementing technological solutions in the work of modern journalism. The study is based on the fact of the indisputable and natural growth of the role of network technologies, in particular the rather controversial phenomenon of social networks, which have now moved from the category of consumer media to the rank of high-speed information providers. Accordingly, some aspects related to significant changes in the production of information content are described, namely the development of numerous digital tools designed to obtain and process information, its analysis, validation, visualization. The contradictions that accompany the ultra-fast implementation of the digital form of display in the process of presentation and transmission of data against the background of current needs of modern information consumption are highlighted. The level of interest in the above issues of domestic and foreign researchers is reflected.
