Abstract

The ore deposits associated with andesitoid magmatism of various ages (S2. ^1-2. D3Ci) in the Urals are characteristic of the geotectonic environments of mature ensimatic island arcs (the gold-barite-polymetallic massive sulfide association) and of continen tal-margin ensimatic belts (copper-porphyry, copper-skam, gold-sulfide-quartz and other associations). The vertical and lateral zoning in the distribution of ore types as well as of the igneous rocks reflects the geotectonic environment.
