Abstract
Titanocene complexes of various electron-poor alkynes react with PhPCl2 and PCl3 to afford the corresponding 1-phenyl and 1-chlorophosphirenes. A similar Ti to P transfer reaction occurs when dialkoxytitanium complexes of electron-rich alkynes are used.
