Abstract

CoP nanoparticles embedded into N-doped carbon nanotube nanocages are synthesized by the calcination of the core–shell metal organic framework and subsequent vapour-phase phosphorization. The as-prepared composite shows an outstanding electrochemical property (1107 mA h g−1 at 0.05 A g−1) and robust life. The outstanding properties are ascribed to the hollow structure and N-doped carbon framework.
