Abstract
The first example of metal hydrazinoborane, LiN2H3BH3, and its hydrazine borane adduct LiN2H3BH3·2N2H4BH3 were synthesized with their crystal structures successfully determined. The metal hydrazinoboranes exhibit dramatically improved dehydrogenation over the pristine hydrazine borane (N2H4BH3) with nearly complete dehydrogenation in a mild temperature range (50–225 °C) and high purity of H2 release.
