Abstract
Este artículo analiza el rol de la crítica literaria costarricense dentro del contexto socio-económico costarricense. Para esto, además, se estudia la producción académica de varios investigadores de la Universidad de Costa Rica y del Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica. Se propone, a través del concepto de lectura positiva, que hay una desconexión entre el contexto costarricense y la labor realizada por la crítica literaria costarricense.
