Abstract

This meta-analysis was undertaken to clarify existing knowledge of computer use in instruction and to provide information concerning implementation factors that would be helpful to educational administrators. A meta-analysis technique was used to synthesize the results of 40 independent studies. Variables analyzed included characteristics of students, teachers, physical settings, and instructional formats.
