Abstract
Introduction: The role and potential advantages of endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR) in the management of ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) is controversial. We aimed to assess the perioperative mortality of EVAR versus open surgical repair for ruptured AAA and investigate whether outcomes have improved over the years and whether there is an association between institutional caseload and perioperative mortality.
